Charming Cottages set within lovely gardens by the sea at Flaxmill Bay, Cooks Beach

Our 1-bedroom garden view cottages provide quality self-catered accommodation options for singles or couples wishing to stay in the Mercury Bay area.

Each unit has a master bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower, a kitchenette, open plan living/dining area and own outdoor area with picnic table and access to a shared BBQ. See our cottage facilities.

The cottages are only suitable for a maximum of 2 people. Families will be more comfortable with the extra space and facilities offered in our 3 bedroom Holiday Houses.

For wheelchair users or those with reduced mobility, we also have Accessible Accommodation available.

Fabulous location, wonderful cottage beautifully designed in lovely mature garden - not overlooked by others. Very comfortable bed and excellent kitchen area. It's one of the best properties that we've ever stayed in across the whole of New Zealand. Simply superb in every way.....

We stayed in a cottage which was well presented and very well equipped, I can't think of anything else we would have needed. The grounds are just amazing and the planting gives everyone privacy. Would definitely stay again and would recommend for any couple to stay there. The beach is so close and safe, lots of walks are close by as well. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The only hard thing you will face at Flaxmill is having to leave your exquisitely lovely cottage in the pristine grounds (with the sound of the wind rustling the great leafy trees overhead) to experience all the places of stunning beauty that surround you!
