Operating seasonally from Labour Weekend to Easter, Flaxmill’s boutique campground next to Cooks Beach has 35 camping sites spread out within landscaped, sheltered park grounds. All our sites are powered and ~100m2 in size.
As well as camping options, our sleeper cabin Toi Toi provides quality ‘sleeping only’ accommodation. All campground guests use the modern, immaculate communal facilities in the central block. For guests looking for self-contained holiday accommodation, we also have 1 bedroom Cottages, 3 bedroom Holiday Houses and Accessible Houses available.

Flaxmill is located in a tranquil bay on the east coast of the Coromandel Peninsula. We are a convenient base from which to explore the highlights of the Mercury Bay region – Cooks Beach, Cathedral Cove, Hot Water Beach and the town of Whitianga.
