Reservations



General

Check in: Between 3:30pm - 6.30pm (for check-in outside these times, please phone us in advance)

Check out: By 10.00am (Late check outs may incur an extra charge of 50% of the nightly rental unless prior arrangement has been made with us).

Noise: For the benefit and comfort of our guests, we have a no noise policy between 10.30pm - 7.00am. We reserve the right to cancel the tenancy of any person or group who in our opinion are behaving in an objectionable manner or contravene the resort rules. There will be no refund of fees paid.

Alcohol: Excessive drinking and parties are not permitted. Aside from your campsite or cottage, no alcohol is to be consumed in the park.

Pets: No pets are permitted during our peak or mid season. Consent may be given during off-season as long as prior arrangement has been made with us.

Visitors: All visitors must check in at the office on arrival and must leave the grounds by 10.00pm.

Non-Smoking: All cottages and communal facilities are non-smoking. It is an offence in NZ to smoke in public areas.

Damage: A bond of $150.00 is required for excessive damage or use of cottage linen at the beach. Credit card details will be held for this purpose.

Children: We accept no responsibility for the supervision of children holidaying within the facilities. Parents are expected to supervise their children while toileting, showering and playing with in the environment at all times.

Cancellation Policy

 

Boats: We ask that consideration be shown to other campers while flushing out boat motors. This is restricted to the boat wash down area and between the hours of 10.00am - 4.30pm. Boat wash down is metered with tokens (available from office).

Rubbish: All rubbish must be disposed of appropriately. Recycled materials (glass, paper & tins) to be sorted into recycling bins, food waste placed in scrap buckets located in communal kitchen, all other waste to be disposed in approved council blue rubbish bags.

5km Speed Limit: Walking pace (5km) for all vehicles. Small children are often walking or biking around.

Fires/Fireworks: Fires are not permitted in the park at any time. All BBQs must be electric or gas. No fireworks are to be set of in campground.

Electrical Warrants: All Caravans/Camper Vans must have a current electrical warrant before connecting to the power points. Campervans must provide their own waste container and empty chemical toilets in the dumping station. All connections to powered tent sites must have approved electrical leads and plugs (all clients are responsible for providing their own electrical leads and plugs for powered sites).

Health & Safety: A First Aid Kit is available at the office. All accidents within the facilities must be reported to the office as soon as possible. All guests and visitors are responsible for taking practicable steps to ensure their own safety while staying here at Flaxmill Bay Hideaway. A list of potential hazards is available for viewing at time of check in for guests.
